There are two types of membership: Active and Associate Membership.
Active Members are journalists serving media published abroad. Associate Members are members of related professions such as diplomatic, US media or PR representatives.

For an Active Membership:

1. Complete the Application for an Active Member print it out and sign it.

2. Prepare a check or money order for the dues ($95, payable to the Foreign Press Association).

3. Complete your application with:
A letter of accreditation with the letterhead of your employing organization.
Some recent clippings, scripts or other samples of your work.
A photo (no larger than 1¼ x 1¼) for Press Card ID

4. Put all in envelope and mail it to:

For an Associate Membership:
