There are three types of membership: Active, Associate Membership, and Associate Student Membership. Active Members are journalists serving media published abroad. Associate Members are members of related professions such as diplomatic, US media or PR representatives. Associate Student members are foreign students studying journalism at US colleges, or US students of journalism who are currently writing for foreign publications, or representing broadcast organizations or news agencies.
2. Complete your application with:
A check or money order for the dues ($100, payable to the Foreign Press Association)
A letter of accreditation with the letterhead of your employing organization.
Some recent clippings, scripts or other samples of your work.
